Leoluca di Miceli is born and baptized on 25 April 1835 or (24 April)[1]. He is the son of Giuseppe di Miceli and Oliva Ligotino. His godparents are Michaelangelo Marino and Maria Rosa Guagliardo, who are not married.
Leoluca marries Lucia Gennaro, daughter of the late Salvatore and Giacoma Majuri, on 10 February 1861. Giuseppe has died by this time, and Oliva is living.
Lucia and Leoluca have at least four children: Oliva (1861), Giuseppe (1864), Luciano (1872), and Biagio (c. 1881).
I estimate Oliva is born the year her parents marry. She is named after her paternal grandmother.
Giuseppe is born on 10 September 1864 in his parents' home in via S. Elena, Corleone. His birth is reported by his father, the villico (farmer) Leoluca Di Miceli, age 28. His mother, Lucia, is 22 (b. 1842).
Luciano is born 13 December 1872 in Corleone and baptized the next day. His godparents are Michaele Zangara and Biagia Maggiore, a married couple.[2]
Oliva marries at least twice, first to Pietro Cascio, on 17 November 1878.[3] By my estimate, she is seventeen years old.
Oliva remarries two years later, to Carmelo d'Anna, a widower, on 19 January 1880. This record calls Oliva innupta, meaning she has never married.[4]
I estimate Biagio is born by 1881, twenty years before he marries.
I estimate Luciano is born by 1883, twenty years before he marries.
